How to capture data from streaming ticker in Java?

In online share trading system, there is a ticker in java that displays live quotes of the stocks of my choice. I copy and paste this data in excel. I wantt to capture this data in excel without copying and pasting. How do I do it ?

In either case, unless you’re writing code on the site the data’s coming from (then just send it as an .xls file), you’re going to have a lot of work writing an .xls file format from inside a browser. I’d write a .csv file (which Excel can open directly).
